28. 1. Tianguis

🇬🇧 Staying in Coyoacán, a neighbourhood on the south, for the first few days was a great idea to ease into the trip. On one of our walks we stumbled upon this busy little street market – we later learned they are called tianguis and they root well into the pre-Hispanic period. We obviously had to try some food on the stalls and although Tina’s Spanish serves us well, food here has such different names that we mostly end up pointing at what others order 🙂
